About Drainage Solutions
Drainage is all we do.
We started in 2009 as a landscaping company and saw how badly this area needed real drainage experts. Now drainage is the only thing we do.
We live here. We know Louisiana's clay soil, heavy rains, and the problems they bring to your door. And we know that if we don't do the job right, you'll tell your neighbors, so we make sure your neighbors become our customers too.

I hired this company to deal with the drainage and flooding problems facing our condominium complex. After completion of the work we had a typical Baton Rouge downpour which previously resulted in flooding of our parking lots and driveways. Instead of flooding, everything was draining perfectly. Rather than ponding, the water was flowing into the drains and ditches and out of the complex. It was so rewarding to see this happen but I think part of this joy should be shared with Mike and Jason of Outerscapes, LLC because they were the people that made it happen. In addition to the vastly improved drainage, they also built a beautiful strong flood wall to protect the complex from a lake that had previously caused flooding. Everyone in the complex, including myself of course, is very grateful to them.

These people have been a great help for improving the drainage for our condo complex and reducing the flood threat. Mike and Jason offered some very positive suggestions about improving our situations. They greatly improved the drainage ditch in front of the complex and have now started construction of a berm to protect us from a retention lake that has already flooded our place once. We had terrible drainage problems for years. Every heavy rain and we were threatened with water getting into the house. I found McWane Contractors. Mike came out quickly and gave us an estimate. The work was done next week. As it happens on August 28, Baton Rouge had deluge of 5-6"" of rain in an hour. We watched the water flow into the catch basins and into the piping system and away from the house. Mike Coates' workers were prompt and cleaned up afterwards. I am very satisfied with the job.
